Mr. Nigeria 2010, Kenneth Okolie says he has always had a crush on Nollywood actress, Ufuoma Ejenobor, not minding that the she is not just married now but is also a mother.
Now a Nollywood actor as well and model himself, Kenneth disclosed Nse Ikpe-Etim used to be his crush but he was able to get over his crush on her after a while: ‘I had a crush on Nse Ikpe Etim and I had a crush on Ufuoma Ejenobor. But I think I still have a crush on Ufuoma till now.’
Speaking of his involvement in Nollywood, Kenneth said: ‘My passion for acting kind of grew as a sudden love; I didn’t plan to be an actor. It happened when I did a monologue for a talent at the Mr. World pageant where I had to do something. I said, okay, let me just act and that grew and from there I said to myself that I could do it. Then I had people I actually admired in the industry; Desmond Elliot, Ramsey Nouah, Ini Edo, I enjoyed their acting and I was like, it would be nice to work with these people. I went for an audition and my first one was with Olamide Marore, he’s a Hollywood actor and also a producer and director; he came down to shoot a movie here and went back. The second audition was with Emem Isong; she now gave me a bigger platform to do more jobs with her. From there, I met the likes of Desmond Elliot that I admired; I met Ini Edo that I admired and more of this celebrity top actors as well, so it has been very fulfilling for me.’
