Johannesburg - Five people were killed in accidents across KwaZulu Natal, emergency medical services said on Saturday.
"Several road crashes have left five people fatally injured," said spokesperson Robert Mckenzie.
Two people were killed and another seriously injured when a car and a van collided in the Underberg at around 01:00.
The injured man was treated by paramedics before being taken to the St Apollonaris hospital.
Three men were killed and three injured when two cars crashed at the intersection of 701 and 702 roads in Chatsworth, Mckenzie said.
