Port Harcourt - Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi wants the state's election results to be cancelled as he believes the state was compromised in terms of the preparations, Naijreported.
Amaechi alleges that the interference of the opposition party, the People's Democratic Party has influenced the result of the contest.
According to the All Progressives Congress leader, the PDP has been working with officials and security agencies to rig the election by withholding result sheets. therefore the results of Rivers cannot be trusted.
He further expressed that all the election material are in the PDP's hand and feels quite disappointed with the Independent National Electoral Commission.
