Police said a woman told her boyfriend to close his eyes and then hit him in the head with a baseball bat – because she didn’t want to date him anymore.
Haley Fox, 24, met 26-year-old Samuel Campbell over the internet in 2011 and started an online relationship. Campbell agreed to move to Oregon from Alabama last week to live with Fox.
But Fox apparently changed her mind.
When Campbell was outside the house drinking wine, Fox allegedly told him to close his eyes – which he did – and then hit him in the head with a baseball bat.
She told police the alleged attack was because she didn’t want to date him.
Campbell suffered cuts to the head and a fractured skull.
